Ms. Fakunle comes to the practice of law with experience in banking and financial services. Prior to law school, she held positions at Wemabank and Citibank in her native home of Nigeria. In 2016 she immigrated to the United States to attend the University of Houston Law Center, where she earned a Dean’s Scholarship and regularly appeared on the Dean’s List. During law school Ms. Fakunle served as an Articles Editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, and was named 2019 Citator of the Year for the same publication. Relevant coursework during law school includes Financial Statement Analysis, Securities Regulation, Business Organizations, and Secured Financing.

At Wright Law Group, PLLC Ms. Fakunle works with managers and executives in collateral recovery, deficiency balance litigation, and judgment enforcement matters. A strong advocate for her clients at hearings and in settlement negotiations, she regularly argues Applications for Writ of Sequestration, Motions for Default, and Motions for Summary Judgment before both county and district courts across Texas. Ms. Fakunle approaches each case as a counselor to her creditor client, providing efficient analysis and strategy advice to allow the client to make the best possible business decision.
