Mitchell Wong has a long history of successfully representing creditors in California in outstanding balance litigation and collateral recovery matters. A skilled litigator, he has obtained hundreds of judgments and negotiated hundreds of settlements for his financial clients, and successfully argued over 40 trials. Mr. Wong leverages the litigation process as well as pre-judgment writs to encourage defendants to negotiate settlement prior to trial. Once a judgment has been obtained, he has levied, garnished, assigned and attached property, successfully opposed claims of exemption, and conducted dozens of Orders of Examination to locate assets to satisfy that judgment. From the inception of the case through the enforcement of judgment, he works collaboratively with his clients to achieve their goals and resolve matters promptly. Mr. Wong was a founding member and former Vice President of a trade group which lobbied for changes to how collection cases were heard in the California courts.
