I've spent my entire career on the creditor side of commercial disputes. I founded Wright Law Group, PLLC ("WLG") in 2009 from my kitchen table to represent commercial creditors in Texas. Since then I've grown the firm organically into a multi-state firm operating in the largest U.S. markets. I currently serve as Managing Partner while maintaining an active role in case strategy on complex matters.
WLG is a boutique law firm focused entirely on commercial litigation: replevin and collateral recovery, finance contract enforcement, judgment enforcement, and creditor representation in bankruptcy. I've built the firm with an eye toward long-term institutional strength rather than short-term growth.
Running a mid-sized litigation firm means my responsibilities go well beyond the courtroom. I'm responsible for strategy, operations, compensation, technology decisions, and client relationships. I've invested heavily in building the systems and infrastructure that let a distributed team of remote, full-time attorneys and staff handle complex commercial matters efficiently and consistently, including a custom case management implementation we've run since 2019. Our matters are regularly resolved within 90 days of filing, which reflects both legal strategy and operational discipline.
As the leader of an all-remote organization, I spend a meaningful amount of time thinking about firm culture and long-term incentive structures. I'm working to build an organization where talented people want to stay and grow. I value long-term relationships with both my clients and my team.
My clients value my perspective as an attorney who has seen their specific problems many times and can cut quickly to what matters. I've participated in hundreds of state and federal court proceedings, and that repetition builds a kind of pattern recognition that's hard to replicate.
